Star Trek Original Series vs. Reboot Movies: Relative Ages of Actors

While watching the two latest Star Trek travesties movies, I couldn’t help but notice how ridiculously young the characters look, compared to their Original Series counterparts. I thought it would be interesting to compare the relative ages of the actors at the start of the series and at the premier of the first alternate-timeline movie. According to the Memory Alpha article on Stardates, the first alternate-timeline movie is set seven years prior to the setting of the first episode of The Original Series. In the table below, I’ve presented the actual difference in the ages of the actors and then the difference adjusted by that seven year difference.
